Set in peaceful, picturesque surroundings, this modern detached barn conversion provides excellent holiday accommodation for families or groups. The barn can cater for up to 10 people at any one time, smaller groups are very welcome.

Budds Farm Barn is full of character with oak floors dominating the ground floor and oak staircases at each end of the property.

Both the oak staircases at Budds Farm Barn lead to well thought out and separate sleeping accommodation, making this an ideal place for perhaps two families to holiday together. One staircase leading to the master bedroom and twin bedded room, both with their own bathrooms. The second Budds staircase leads to a double room and bathroom, at the opposite end of the property. Downstairs accommodates another twin room which is ensuite (with bath) and a second reception room with double sofa bed. Whatever your room requirements, they can be accommodated at Budds Farm Barn!

Budds Farm Barn prides itself on a luxurious modern feel, whilst showing off its traditional features. The living space on the ground floor is open plan with a wood burning stove for you to enjoy on winter nights. The kitchen is perfectly designed for entertaining as a family, with a large dining room table to seat all of your party. Although in a rural location there are also many restaurants near by in the towns of Tenterden and Rye. Being equidistant to these towns at just 5 miles to both Tenterden and Rye, Budds Barn is in the perfect location for self catering accommodation.

Get a real feel for the country in amazing quiet surroundings with excellent walks, cycling and even boating on the River Rother. There are also plenty of things to do with the historic town of Tenterden famous for antique shops, and beautiful hilltop Rye, home of artist and writers like Radcliffe Hall, E F Benson, Henry James and Edward Burra. Sissinghurst Castle Gardens (NT) was created in the 1930s by the novelist Vita Sackville West and makes for a good visit, whilst Smallhythe Place is a 'must see' 16th-century half-timbered house. Local wines can be sampled at Tenterden Vineyards, where visitors can also see the hop fields. The South of England Rare Breeds Centre is at Woodchurch offering farm animals and a play area, ideal for the children, whilst slightly further afield, a day trip to Le Touquet can be made from Lydd airport, 12 miles (passports will be needed). Dinner flights can also be taken along the South Coast on a Saturday evening from April to September. We are also near the medieval fortress of Bodiam Castle and house and gardens at Great Dixter. The Kent and Sussex steam trains run in the summer months for those who prefer to stay in the area. For leisurely days out the area is ideal walking territory and there are miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches at Camber. Tenterden leisure centre centre offers good facilities if the children wanted to swim.
